Martha5 Stars Out Of 5Best Book My 27 y/o Son Has ReadSeptember 25, 2015MarthaQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I'm in the process of reading this book and so far am really enjoying it. But I purchased this book along with "A Case For Grace" for my 27 y/o incarcerated son - hearing what wonderful, uplifting books they were. My son was raised and loved in the faith, but has drifted far away from God. Never thought it'd be possible but drugs, alcohol and evil lured him away from God and us. He is very intelligent and quite a reader but he has never been super impressed with any books I've ordered for him (at least he hasn't said that he was). This book, A Case For Faith is one of the best books he's read. He told me it really spoke to him and answered a lot of nagging questions for him. I'm so grateful...I highly recommend it!
Manda Collins5 Stars Out Of 5WOnderful!!January 6, 2015Manda CollinsQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This book is an amazing, all encompassing, hard look at some tough objections to the Christian faith. Check it out! God is REAL, FAITHFUL, and TRUE!
Michelangelo5 Stars Out Of 5Superbly simple, yet mind blowing apologetics... A must have!August 28, 2014MichelangeloQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5From the very first page of the introduction, I felt I couldn't put this book down. Although, this book is a book on apologetic, it is not a cut and dry book with tough objections and simple answers. In this book, Strobel and the renown scholars he interviews gets down in the dirt and straight to the matter; avoiding mediocrity and cliche' answers.
When I purchased this book, I thought to myself this would be an awesome reference book to apologetic objections, but much to my surprise, it is not only a superb reference to objections that are frequently made toward Christianity, but a very delightful literary work. The first few minutes of reading the introduction, I found myself immersed in the story. If you want to grow stronger in your Christian walk and want to articulate to others why exactly you believe in Jesus and in the Bible as the word of God, this book is a great start. If you just want a book that is a good read, this is a awesome book for that, as well. Mr. Strobel's way of writing is very provocative. I am definitely planning on reading more of his works.
