ChristianBook eBooks on the Sony Reader
To read a Christianbook.com licensed eBook on your Sony device, you will need to use Adobe Digital Editions.
Without using ADE, the Sony Reader will attempt to open eBooks with its own software, the Reader Library, and you may receive an error message.
To bypass the Sony Reader Library, return to the eBook portion of 'My Account' on our site, and click to download the eBook again.
When the Adobe Digital Editions installer comes up, click on 'Download Item.'
If you are downloading a DRM Protected eBook, you will be prompted to open or save the URLLINK.acsm. Click 'Save'.
Save the file to your Desktop for quick access later.
Right-click on the URLLINK file, then select 'Open With' and choose Adobe Digital Editions.
If Adobe Digital Editions is not in the list, click 'Choose Default Program' and then select Adobe Digital Editions from the list.
Your eBook will open and display in ADE.
Plug in your Sony Reader, which will now display its model number and not just as Sony Reader.
Now just click, drag and drop your eBook onto the Sony Reader icon.
You can now eject your Sony Reader, open up the Books library and your eBook is ready to read.

She finds her bookish new husband is as averse to marriage as she. In a world of Viking raids, territorial wars, and family treachery, Anmair must both prove herself worthy of true love, and a woman who can hold the Faith Box. She and Cadell must work together to weave a tapestry of peace.
StepheniaAge: 25-34Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 54.5 Stars for this great historicalJanuary 25, 2013StepheniaAge: 25-34Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 4Set in tenth century Clwyd (Whales, bordering England) this story sweeps you away to a time of honor, war and duty. Though at times the authentic language was difficult to follow, it truly sets the scene. The reader really feels the customs and life of these clans.
Anmair is given by her father in marriage in order to secure peace and bolster her people's strength to withstand Viking raids. Cadell aspired to be a monk, not a husband. But with his brothers killed in war, he is his father's only heir and it falls to his shoulders to claim this destiny. Thrown together into a marriage neither of them wanted, they soon have to rely on each other when crisis hits. Strong, fiery and determined, Anmir captivates Cadell and he learns he will go to any lengths necessary to save her.
Well-written and intriguing, this book keeps the pages turning. The plot is well-developed and despite a somewhat slow start the action escalates quickly and keeps the reader involved. The romance develops well, and the heat rating is sweet. The first of a series, each book will focus on items placed in a special ancestral box. I give this book 4.5 stars and look forward to the next one!
