This DVD was very informative and helpful. It pointed out things to me I was unaware of that our society today is taking and believing as Gospel and it backs these errors up with truthful documentation and facts. I love the way it also shows you in the extras how important it is to evangelize the truth to others especally to those who have already read the book The Da Vinci Code who may actually ask you a question about what it says in the Bible about certain things, and it does it in such a way that is non threatening or argumentative . I would highly recommend the purchase of this DVD to others.

I ordered this DVD due to the second up coming movie of the Da Vinci Code (Angels and Demons). I wanted to educate myself with the Truthful answers to this fictional book and movie in order to help those who are lost in today's world of deception and lies of Jesus Christ. This DVD exposed and answered all of the untruth of Dan Brown's book and did so with using God's Word with common sense. Keep in mind that the majority of Dan's book is based on the old Gnostic gospels which have been discarded and proven untrue through the centuries. One common sense example from the DVD reveals Dan's claim that Mary of Magdalene is painted to the right of Jesus in Leonardo of Vinci Last Supper painting, if so then why would there only be only 11 disciples and not 12. Even if one would say Judas was left out would contradict how Jesus lovingly treated Judas, even washing his feet equally with the other disciples during the Last Supper. I highly recommend this DVD for anyone with questions to this many century old debate brought up once again by the novelist Dan Brown in this century.

Author/Artist Review

Author: Tom & Amy Dallis
Submitted: February 27, 2006

Tell us a little about yourself.  We founded Ensign Media in early 2004 as a film ministry to provide discipleship materials for small groups and individuals.

What was your motivation behind this project?  We are greatly concerned about the cultural forces that shape the spiritual beliefs of Christians today and the world in which we live. We strive to provide a counter-balance to those ideals which contradict absolute truths or are in opposition to a Biblical worldview.

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  Our main goal is to help viewers distinguish between the fiction presented in The Da Vinci Code and the true Biblical and historical Jesus. It is our desire that viewers will also discover how to use the book or movie as a tool to open a dialogue and share their faith.

Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  As Christian apologists, we greatly enjoy the writings of C.S. Lewis and appreciate his defense of orthodox Christianity.

Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know:  We are always looking for subjects for documentary films that would be of interest to small groups. To submit your ideas or learn more about us and our mission, please visit us at www.ensignmedia.com.
