This book is a good introduction to how to live with autism. It explores a number of treatment options. The author also delves into her own family's journey with autism. The biggest drawback is the book was published in the year 2000 and some of the information is dated.
We are in the process of getting our 2 year old son a full evaluation (already had his screening) for autism. This book has helped so much in giving us direction on what steps to take in helping our son. We would recommend this book to anyone who has a child with autism or a child who they think might have autism. It's so helpful!
