Publisher's Description

The stories of four individuals collide in trademark T.L. Hines style where supernatural thriller meets mystery.

Kurt Marlowe is a long-haul truck driver who is hearing strange things over his CB radio. When he goes to a truck stop to try to find a phone, he ends up having breakfast with a young woman with a stunning catfish tattoo on her arm. Inside the tattoo is a series of numbers that she didn’t even realize were there . . . but that have great significance.

This collision with her life sets off an unstoppable series of interactions . . . each of which leaves the participants with the bizarre feeling that something fundamental has changed, and yet they have also, somehow, been freed.

Faces in the Fire by T.L. Hines Faces in the Fire is a book about the supernatural. Several different characters’ lives are intertwined by one set of ten numbers. Each section of the book tells an event from one person’s viewpoint until the end of the book, when the events and relationships begin to fall in place as the reader sees the big picture. Throughout the book, the characters are faced with choices that will lead to good changes in their lives, as well as others, or will lead to destruction. Though this book is marketed as Christian fiction, it is really a clean and well-written fiction book. Though the name of God is mentioned a couple of times throughout the book, there is no relationship with God, no salvation, and no redemption. The story line is very unusual and will either pull readers in as they try to figure out what is happening or will cause readers to put down the book and not finish it. This is not the typical book I would read and I will not read it a second time, though I did find T.L. Hines imagination in writing very interesting. http://www.thomasnelson.com/consumer/product_detail.asp?sku=1595544534&title=Faces%20in%20the%20Fire

T.L. Hines has done it yet again! He has such a way with his writing that just seems to captivate his audience until the very last page! When i saw Hine's newst book i just had to grab it. I had read "The Unseen" and enjoyed it immensely so i have high hopes for this book as well! I wasn't disappointed at all! Hines weaves a fantastic story line connecting the lives of four characters in a subtle yet noticable way! Faces in the Fire revolves around the lives of 4 people; Kurt a trucker turned artist, Corrinne, an e-mail spammer (who is surprisingly a very likable character!), Grace a tattoo artist and heroine addict, and finally Stan the hit man. This book was so good once i picked it up i couldn't put it down until i was done! Definately recommend this one!!

I've read all Hines' novels and this was my favorite by far! The first time, I read it from front to back & am now re-reading it in chronological order by chapters. I would recommend this style. Good job, T.L.!
