A gripping and heartbreaking film about perception, suffering, and hope, Eyes to See tells the story of a news cameraman who is assigned to capture Haiti in the aftermath of the 2010 earthquake that left over 300,000 dead. In the midst of the catastrophic damage created by the 7.0 magnitude quake, the cameraman is forced to choose between doing his job and stepping out from behind the lens to help the victims.
Inspired by the personal experiences of filmmaker David de Vos, this short drama co-stars a Haitian native and carries a moving, faith-based message. In tribute to the Haitian people, Eyes to See signed over all proceeds to Hope Outreach International Ministries, a Christian non-profit organization. Approx. 105 minutes.

chosen not to purchase if I had known. I think the money went to relief efforts in Haiti, so I was not going
to complain and, maybe, should not have mentioned it. My t.v..as I can figure out, does not play the extra stuff on dvd, so I never got to see the additional stuff. Watching the extra stuff might have changed my idea of the dvd. Thank you

Even though it was only half-an-hour, it packs an emotional punch. Acting was solid throughout. I also like the documentary on the features, showing the church team helping out in Haiti. It doesn't have an in-your-face gospel message, but there's plenty here to start discussions with those who may not already be Christians, or for groups interested in mission work. Recommend.
Shelly2 Stars Out Of 5Not much "Faith"September 2, 2012ShellyQuality: 3Value: 1Meets Expectations: 1Even though the film stands for a good cause, and tries to create some sort of moral compass, I personally was disappointed by the lack of God in this film. Having been lead to believe from the description that it would have a "message of faith" the only thing that alludes to Christianity is when a women is shown praying. In all fairness I did not watch all the extra material, but I figured if it was missing from the feature film, it would probably not be in all the extras. Also I thought the feature film would be 105 minutes long, but soon found out it is actually only 33 minutes long. This movie was not worth the 13.99 I payed.
