Gentle yet thorough high school physics We have not yet used this curriculum, but glancing through the text, I think it will be an excellent college preparatory physics, sufficiently challenging as well. August 24, 2012

Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! I changed publishers, and this one is much better. It is written in Christian perspective. It is very easy to understand. The author explains why you must do certain things with the equations, and what you are actually doing. He also makes sure that you clearly understand the topics before he moves on to the next. He also lists other sources for additional information if you need it. August 30, 2011

I haven't started using this with my son yet, but I have used Apologia Physical Science, Biology and Chemistry and highly recommend using Apologia. The books are written so that the student can pretty much teach themselves and if you are a non science parent like myself you will have no problem understanding the concepts. February 17, 2009
