The best workbook I've ever encountered! I'm in the learning process of how Jesus can love us individually and to feel at peace. February 15, 2013

A very lukewarm study My husband and I both did this study and found it to be very lukewarm. Our first complaint was that it could barely be called a Bible study (more topical) as you spent very little if any time searching in your Bible. One of the reasons we do Bible studies is to look up scriptures, Max writes everything for you so there's hardly a need for your Bible. Second, the questions were basic and lacking in depth. Each multiple choice option was obvious and requiring no thought. For example, day five of week one asks how God cares for everyone on earth, with the options being "God is patient with everyone; God wants to help each person change their life; or God does not want anyone to be lost". These types of questions are good for brand new disciples who know little of who Jesus is, but not for those looking for indepth Bible studies. I'm not saying this is a bad study, I know a lot of people have used it and grown from it. If you are new to the faith, youth or adult, this could help you learn more about the Savior. But if you are looking for a study that will dig into the scriptures and fuel deep thoughts and growth you should look at John MacArthur instead. June 15, 2012

Great Bible study for anyone. Our bible study class loves this book by Max Lucado, we have 18 people in the class and so far all have come back to it, we have only just started the first week of lessons, so far it is great Bible study. March 20, 2012

Wonderfully written Max Lucado really has a gift. He uses everyday language and imagery that makes the bible come alive for me. I had already finished his other workbook "Experiencing the Words of Jesus" and loved it so I am excited to get further into this one. February 27, 2012
