I read so many great reviews, I bought the book! Maybe the original was good? I bought the Revised and Expanded version. Most of it seemed to be one big pat-on-the-back. I already have the book, I do not need to be sold on buying it. Therefore, get on with the "Experiencing God: Knowing and Doing the Will of God" part! I have not been able to finish the book (3/4 through). Maybe the last 1/4 gets better and will help me not feel as if I wasted money on this book. To-date, this is the worst "Christian" book I have read.
We have been studying this book weekly at Bible Study. Its so empowering . The authors share experiences of growing deeper into the knowledge of God which has drawn us to a deeper closer relationship with our personal Lord and Saviour. This book has moved us to a transforming power of God, to give us knew insights into how God works His Will through His people. It has led us to begin to look around us to see where God is already at work rather than plan our own agenda and ask God to work in it! Its well written, easy to understand and based on a firm profound foundation of the Word as well as practical experiences. This is a life changing book I highly recommend for anyone seeking to understand God's Will for their lives and for the church.
