I got this because my cousin wanted to do a book study with friends and asked me to join. One of the ladies in my Tuesday night Bible Study suggested this as a possibility for 2010. So now we are all doing this study; some on Tuesday and some on the weekend and some are doing both days. We are all very excited to be doing this book. I am only on chapter 3 but it has already been an eye-opening study for many of us. We are all Experiencing God where each one is and its been wonderful so far. This works on many levels; you can do this in a group or individually. There is also a workbook and a cd in this series and some of us are looking into adding these to our studies. This is a great study! Enjoy.

I have done this study twice. Over 20 plus years of bible studies, this one is one of the most memorable and life changing. The "study version" does require homework which is essential to grasp the full value of the study. Worth it!!!

I can't put it down. The book is full of God's truth and has much insight. Everyone needs to read it at some point in their faith journey.

This is an excellent introduction to the idea of turning one's will and life over to God. As a workbook, it could be improved on - and in fact, I did find the earlier edition and it has a lot more intricate daily exploration of the subject. A great start, though!

a definate must read and must have. it's hard to describe a book that is anointed. The Lord is glorified. It helps deepen our relationship with Him.

I ordered it to use in our Sunday School class, which is studying this. It is very basic and evangelical in its interpretation of Christian theology, which is why I like it. We are now on Ch5, so I will not try to cover all the areas I haven't read yet, but it is staying on the theme of "Experiencing God" with excellent examples, supportive scriptures, straightforward approach to problem solving matters of Christian faith and life.

The original Experiencing God was one of the most significant books I have ever read. I read it cover to cover three times.(I have not yet read the expanded edition)I have suggested this book to many people.
