This book is amazing. She has scripture to back her up on everything she is saying. It's the best book I've ever read on how to be a Godly wife. It helps you to go free from yourself so you can be all God has called you to be,plus while your going free God is behind the scenes working in & on your husband to be all He has called him to be, so that you & your husband can go & do great exploits for the Kingdom of God. I Love this book & would recomend it to women wanting to make a change.

I've given over 30 copies of this book away as gifts. This book takes God's Word & allows God to come along side you, so you can change. I followed God's Word, using this tool & I saw my husband change. If you allow God to make you a godly wife, it allows your husband to be a godly husband. It is based on scripture & lists scriptures throughout, no worldly philosopy here!

There are some hidden gems in here, but overall this is a dangerous book. It advocates co-dependency, which is defined as taking care of others to the extent that you harm yourself. It is bad advice also in that a woman who completely loses her own spark and essence becomes uninteresting to her husband, as well as unhappy! Follow the advice in here at your own risk. Abundant life is for women as well as men! The Christian life is a joyful one, but this book is no fun.

This is a book that was so helpful to me in my Christian marriage. It is very down-to-earth and practical. I now give it, as well as the study guide, as a bridal shower gift to every young lady in our church.

Martha Peace does an excellent job teaching women what an excellent wife should look like; their behavior, thoughts, attitudes etc. She uses Scripture throughout the book which is what I like. This is not a flowery self help book. Every principle is based onthe Word of God. Martha also uses charts to organize and summarize the principles for easy reference. Every married woman or women planning on getting married should read this book and refer to it from time to time. I gave it to my future daughter-in-law at a bridal shower for her.

This book is excellent for anyone who has tried studies about being a wife and wants a study that does not allow room let ourselves get away with not dealing with their own issues. This is not a study on how to fix your husband but rather work on your self and trust God to fix the husband.

This a wonderful book. Full of truths that are so important to be reminded of as a Christian wife. This book is in stark contrast to what the world would have us believe about marriage, but it is very much in line with what God would want us to embrace as wives. I reread chapters in this book as I need to be reminded of where God wants me to be in my marriage. I highly recommend.

This book has been an excellent guide for me in my endeavor to become a more excellent wife. My husband and I have been married nearly 3 years, and I wish I would have read this book as soon as, or even before, we were married, but it is perfect for any wife, whether she has been married 6 months or 60 years. Martha Peace explains everything in a gentle but firm manner and lays out biblical principles to help you become the wife God wants you to be. I'd definitely recommend this to a friend!
