In the Hebrew scriptures there is no word for “spiritual.” And Jesus never used the phrase “spiritual life.”
Why?
Because for Jesus and his tradition, all of life is spiritual.
But what does that really mean?

Although Rob Bell has a lot of controversy surrounding him and his theology, I didn't find anything in this particular dvd that was unbiblical. As another reviewer mentioned, he doesn't mention Jesus Christ as the only way to salvation, however, the teaching in this dvd was not about Jesus Christ or salvation. I found it to be a great dvd as far as reconciling science and faith and the (im)possibilities of what God has done. I think he does a great job on explaining how incomprehensible and big our God is and how little we really know and understand.

This product was excellent! We will be using it in a session with our youth group. Bell makes it all so simple and easy to understand!

Beware. Scripture tells all to be discernful. I enjoyed the information Rob Bell brings out on "Everything is Spiritual" however, I kept waiting for Rob to tell the world about Jesus Christ as the only way to enter heaven. Rob does not mention salvation through God's only begotten son, Jesus Christ and why Jesus had to die on the cross. BEWARE. Jesus said there will be many false teachers that will deceive many. Do diligent research on Rob Bell in the internet and review carefully. May God keep you from deceivers.

I found the commentary on the first creation account by Rob Bell to be outstanding! He has a wealth of background in the Hebrew culture and language which provides the listener with wonderful insights. He also contemporizes his analysis with the latest scientific thought and blends this with what the Hebrew Scriptures offer us in the Genesis story--I very highly recommend DVD to anyone interested in having fresh perspective on this part of the Christian tradition. Actually, I have found anything Rob has videoed or presented in book form to be extremely well thought out and presented.

I really enjoyed the dvd and would give it a higher rating except it doesn't quite live up to the title. I'm still waiting for the follow through for his excellent introduction to a difficult subject. About 99% of the presentation is simply laying a foundation for his conclusion that everything is spiritual but with that title I expected the meat of the presentation to discuss what that means and how that truth should change the way we live as Christians. Didn't happen.

Rob Bell is a gifted speaker who does an excellent job of explaining why everything
is spiritual. this is a great dvd to use as
a witnessing tool with those who see themselves as to smart to be sucked into
Christianity. Thank you Rob for a great DVD.

Everything Is Spiritual is an amazing dvd. Rob Bell provides a thorough and deeply thought out presentation of the work of God and man's spirituality. There is so much to think about I have learned much Priceless.

Fast moving, lots and lots of interesting information to absorb. Fascinating!
The more times you watch it the more you learn. Highly recommend!
