Every Bride Needs a Groom by Author Janice Thompson captured my interest and was so fun and enjoyable to read. I love the small town setting and the unique characters. As I was reading this book with its twists and turns, I was smiling and the storyline is a delight. The bride won her wedding dress but lost her groom. You never know what will happen next. Author Janice Thompson was excellent in writing a marvelous novel that not only captivated me, but was fun to read. Every Bride Needs a Groom is Book One in the Brides With Style series. I highly recommend reading this book and looking forward to Book Two in this series.

I received a complimentary copy from the publisher through NetGalley in exchange for my honest review. This review is one hundred percent my own opinion.

Janice Thompson is a new to me author. I love her fun writing style. Her ability to grab your interest, make you laugh and feel a part of a town and family. Every Bride Needs A Groom is book one in Brides with Style series. I look forward to reading the others.

Katie Fisher is a small town girl that has always dreamed of a wonderful wedding. She knows she will marry the man she has been dating for years. When He decides they need a break the same week she finds she won an amazing wedding dress, what will she do. As she decides to 'face it like a man' and come clean with the bridal shop she is not prepared for all the staff at the shop, especially the handsome pro basketball player, Brady James.

Brady James is a pro basketball player and a family man, while recovering from knee surgery he gladly helps his mom in her shop. When Katie Fisher comes in so does all the drama of small town meets big city. When the truth is revealed will he be able to forgive her and maybe open his heart to a new adventure.

This novel is full of fun, family, comedy, tradition and spontaneity. If you enjoy contemporary Christian Romance with a dash of laughter you will love this one.

I was given a copy of this novel from net galley for my honest opinion.

This is a beautifully written story about dreams and unfortunately reality.

It is a book that will keep a smile on your face even after you finish the last word written. It is full of humor, love, heartbreak and trust.

Most all little girls not only plan, but dream of their weddings from an early age and Katie Fisher is no different. She's a 24 year old woman who has been planning her wedding since the age of 6. She works in her small town at the family owned hardware store.

When cousin LoriLou calls to tell her about the contest to win a wedding gown designed by Nadia James who owns Cosmopolitan Bridal in Dallas without much thought she sends her entry into the contest.

    Problem #1

    She's not engaged.

Of course she has been dating Casey Lawson for almost 8 years and has basically known him all her life so she knows it's just a matter of time before he proposes.

    Problem #2

    She won the contest.

On June 1st Madge Hamilton with Cosmopolitan calls to inform her she has won the contest. Now how to get Casey to pop the question.

    Problem #3

Casey informs her that he feels his future is in Tulsa, Oklahoma working for Chesterfield Oil & Gas.

I could go on listing obstacles for Katie, but there would truly be too many. Katie decides that what's most important is that she is upfront and honest with Cosmopolitan and inform them that she is neither has a boyfriend or is engaged.

What a wonderful plot and one that will keep you turning the pages until the end. I loved Katie's character. At the beginning of the story she makes a gets caught up in the excitement of the contest, makes an assumption and ends making a bad decision. I like how she takes responsibility for her mistake and tries to make amends.

This is a wonderful romance interlaced with lots of humor. It's a delicious tale as characters find things more complicated than they ever imagined. It's vastly entertaining. It's definitely a clean, feel good romance that I would recommend to anyone.

** I received this book through NetGalley for a honest opinion without outside influence or bias.

Katie Fisher had been waiting forever for her boyfriend, Casey, to propose. Shes been planning this wedding since she was six! But something isnt quite right.

Casey is being evasive about the future. Hes disappearing, forgetting to call, and isnt including her in his long term plans.

Maybe entering the contest for the couture gown and chance to be on the magazine cover was a bad idea

    Hott Review:

I absolutely love the wisdom Katies grandmother doles out!! This book is worth every penny and several reads just for that. She very concisely tells Katie how to tell whether Casey is worth waiting for and reminds her how to ask God to guide her.
