This bible (printed in China not the USA) is very difficult to read. It says it is large print but the spacing is so tight that the words are crammed together. The references are so small they might as well have been left out. The online close-up view shows the cover, but not the text. Not a true representation of what's inside.
Despite this being a gift I returned it and will get a true large print ESV.
The genuine leather bible I purchased from ESV was a major disappointment. It is only bonded leather and won't last. I would gladly pay the price for a truly "genuine" leather bible that can stand the test of time.
ESV is best translation I have found. The Thinline Bible offers true large type in a compact format. Small enough to carry or keep in briefcase and light enough to hold comfortably. Paper is thin, which allow highlighting color to peek through, but it is not bleed through -- it is just that paper is thin enough to be slightly translucent.
