The ESV Study Bible includes more than 20,000 notes, written specifically for the ESV Study Bible. Another unique feature is the inclusion of over 50 helpful articles on topics such as the authority and truthfulness of the Bible, reading the Bible for application, the Bible in worship and prayer, the reliability of the biblical manuscripts, the relationship between archaeology and the Bible, an overview of biblical theology, and many more.
Other key resources include a system of 80,000 cross references and a concordance (which together facilitate easy location of important words, passages, and biblical themes). In addition, over 200 color charts, located throughout the Bible, provide clear, concise presentations of essential information.

This is my second ESV Bible. I got the Study Bible for Christmas after reading a Thinline Version for a few months. The Study Bible is amazing. Volumes of information for in-depth Study, or just a note on verses and passages. The online access is equally impressive. This Bible has really given me the tools to grow in my walk with Christ. It is HUGE, therefore not the best for portability, but great for your personal devotion time. This post is several months removed from my getting this Bible and I can tell you the Trutone Binding holds up great.

I absolutely love my ESV study bible. The study notes are so helpful and there are wide margins for notes. The leather-like cover is soft, but durable. I would highly recommend this Bible.

Excellent product, very attractive leather look/feel. As a study Bible it is excellent as well. I have the NIV and the Life Application Study Bibles and I can honestly say, I like this one best. However, the print is small!!! It does offer access to the online ESV Study Bible and that's what I will use for study. If you need large print and don't like to read off a computer screen, do not get this one!

Amazing binding, the information is great (Grudem is always very good with presenting multiple views instead of just including what he believes), and the TruTone is so soft!
I still have no idea what TruTone is; it says imitation leather here (i'm guessing when they put up the product, they don't have too much of a choice, just a pull down menu when creating the description), but my friends agree it's real leather still after much inspection (feel, look, smell- that was the big one), so if anyone would like to describe what TruTone is, that'd be awesome. I've scavenged the internet to no avail... but I highly recommend this. This goes nicely with my two MacArthur bibles.

We have only had the ESV Study Bible a few days and have already enjoyed the wealth of information, readable print in both text and notes, and the way the binding allows a Bible of this size to lay nicely. We look forward to many hours of study.
