The ESV Study Bible includes more than 20,000 notes, written specifically for the ESV Study Bible. A very good study Bible,very easy to read, lots of helpul articles-lots of helpful study
notes,no antiquated english words.
The translators are to be commended. Theologically sound.

For sheer heft and weight, this bible is THE heaviest 1 I now own! I do wish it was 'red letter'; but the resources all under 1 cover, are awesome! Almost like having a stack of references in 1 volume! The maps, charts, tables are plain, easy to read; and the topics are written for clarity and relevance. The notes at the bottom are excellent and help me understand difficult places of reading and comprehension...worth the $$$

This is an outstanding Study Bible - without doubt the best I have ever owned. The study notes are very helpful and with the inclusion of the articles at the back and the large number of charts etc this is a wonderful Bible for learning and application too. When I bought it at $25 even with $10 international carriage charge, I saved a lot compared to buying the same Bible in the UK. One very happy customer!

Although I have had this Bible for only a short time, I am very pleased to find it so readable and except for a few exceptions it is very comparable to the KJV to which I am accustomed.

This is a beautiful, incredibly well researched, study Bible. Although I have not been able to read through all of the notes (...) I have begun to read through portions including Revelation. The authors seem intent on presenting a balanced viewpoint, giving fair respect to each of the major schools of thought. There are also lots of diagrams, drawings and charts, which help to clarify. Although I am not a Biblical scholar, or an expert in Greek or Hebrew, I do hold a Masters in Ministry. I would definitely recommend this resource to my friends as a way to dig deeper into the Scriptures. As an aside, I've also used many other study Bibles, including the original NIV, The Reformation Study Bible, the MacArthur Study Bible and even the Full Life Study Bible. This Bible is a worthwhile addition to my previous purchases.

I love this ESV study Bible! It has alot of great referance material and of course, the ESV translation is so understandable with losing the poetry that the King James has. It is an outstanding value. I only wish I had it in softcover.

I'm very anxious to begin studying using the ESV Bible. It contains a wealth of information and the plus side is access to the internet version and to be able to download passages and maps and other information helpful in preparing to teach a class or just being a good Bible student.
