I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my new Bible. This is how I THINK I've been translating the King James Version in my head for a while. I love the size of the Bible, the print is good for aging eyes. The paper used stands up to a highlighter and it was easy to "break in" so I could find scriptures on Sunday, two days after it was delivered. It will be easy to share with kids in class or VBS when you want them to understand for themselves what the Bible says on a subject or what a certain verse says. I wish I'd ordered it earlier.
I'm a younger Christian who has turned from the faith and is coming back to it realizing that she never really knew God in the first place. Deciding to get a readable, portable Bible, I found this was the perfect one for me.
The size is perfect for throwing into my purse, though the font might only be appropriate for younger eyes. I bring it everwhere. I'm liking the ESV translation, but the features of this particular Bible are what I feel makes it so great for new Christians or just anyone who wants to really get into reading their Bible. It has book introductions, reading plans, gives passages to read when you're sad, angry, etc. In the back there is an article about salvation and how it works. And it's so cheap!
Another selling point for me was the fact the the cover is not made of leather. I would recommend this for anyone who wants something compact and cheap, and especially for new believers or someone who really wants someting focuses with a reading plan.
