What a gem! I use it for teaching. The wide margins are great for notes; the pages are thick so my writing doesn't show through. The verse-by-verse lines make finding references so easy. Thanks for a great product--well worth the money.

I have really been enjoying my new ESV single column Bible since it arrived at my home. I have found it to be high quality with a great cover, durable binding and pages that are heavy enough to prevent almost all bleed through when using marking and note taking pens. The only thing that I wish is that the margins would have been an 1 1/2 inch or greater and would willingly sacrifice the 10 point type for 8 or 9 if it meant larger margins.... A great Bible.....

Top drawer! The cover is simply elegant, the layout exactly what I was looking for and the paper guage and quality is premium, no bleeding, yet not stiff.

This is truly a Bible of the utmost quality in every respect. The calfskin is similar to the Nelson Signature editions and Tyndale NLT calfskin. It is soft and malleable, but strong and thick. The spine is reinforced like the In Touch Ministries NASB calfskin. This is the best Crossway ESV ever built. It beats Foundation's deluxe reference NASB with the reinforced, traditional spine missing from the newer NASBs. The Single Column text with references on the side make this Bible even a cut above the In Touch NASB. Even with the 80000 cross-references there is a wide margin, almost as wide as that NASB plus a solid concordance and the standard maps. Only the Cambridge India Paper, In Touch NASBs "French" paper possibly are a small cut above this paper, but that is debatable. All things considered, I believe this is the best quality reference Bible one can get for the money right now, including the Allan's and the Cambridge's, which are more expensive with the goatskin that doesn't compare to the calfskin on this Bible.

This is an OUTSTANDING Bible! The even better news is, this has been "re-issued" with slightly better paper, more opaque. Thank you Crossway for responding to people's requests! I have owned this Bible for over 2 years now, and I still keep it in the box, and for good reason--It still has that great, calfskin leather smell, just like the day I bought it! Highly recommended.

By far the best bible on the market - oozes quality. Exquisite leather binding, beautiful page lay out, and a superb translation of the scriptures. Single column bibles are the way forward. You won't regret buying this product.

This is an absolutely beautiful edition of this wonderful translation! The single column format is great for Preaching and the side column reference is handy for quick scripture reference.

Great Bible! The print is great, the margins are perfect for notes, the leather is perfect. It is a little thicker than I would have liked, but great!
