I bought this to carry to weekly Bible study. It is attractive and durable. As a translation, I generally like the ESV and I certainly trust it. So, if you need a portable general use Bible with maps and decent concordance, get this one or whichever of its many cousins (i.e., various covers and colors) suites your taste.

Good translation, great service from CBD. Some awkward sentences that could have benefited from closer editing (you'll know them when you read them, nobody ever wrote that way much less spoke that way!) but overall as good as having to read in English gets...better than other translations out there.

I travel often and this Bible fits nicely in my briefcase and the 9.5 pt type is easy on the eyes. My previous travel bible was a little smaller but had 6 pt type. This is much improved and a great value for the price.

This is an excellent translation. The size of this bible is great for everyday use, and the cover is great. The truetone cover gives this bible a well used and comfortable feel. The paper is thin, yet durable. All in all, this is an excellent purchase.

Very attractive cover and cover design; the translation makes many passages more understandable. However, I wish the names of Deity were capitalized. Thin, and a good size to carry along.
