I purchased this bible for my wife in an attempt to get her to start reading a formal equivalence translation as oppossed to a dynamic equivalance translation. I have fell in love with the ESV and thought she would like how readable it is. She loves her NLT and won't give it up. Oh well. The ESV is an awesome translation and I would highly encourage it to anyone.

I've had this Bible for almost two years and love it. I love the translation as well as how flexible and thin it is, making it easier to carry around. The font is also big enough to read and the outside cover is very delicate and feminine.

A beautiful Bible! I got it as a gift, and I’m hoping she likes it as much as I do. The ESV translation is very easy to read and understand (I like the word-for-word translation and the words of Christ in red), and the font is quite reasonable for a Thinline Bible. The six maps in the back are VERY nice. The soft, patterned cover and thin pages give it the appearance of an expensive Bible. A wonderful value for the price!

I really, really like this Bible and I really like reading the ESV. This Bible isn't the most "compact", but still small that it's easy to take along and it's very easy and enjoyable to read. I love the cover design and the color.

This Bible is beautiful! The cover is soft and opens easily. The pages are thin and delicate, but the print is easy to read. The Bible remains open and doesn't snap shut as you're trying to read as some new books do. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a Bible that is small enough to travel well, but still substantial and beautiful enough to want to use every day.

I extremely recommend this Bible. It's so easy to carry around with you anywhere you go, and it fits in almost every pocket I've tried putting it in including my jean pockets. I've had tons of comments on it because of the outter cover, and the comments gave me a chance to spread the word of Christ, so it actually is extremely handy in many ways.
