The advertisement states that it is performed by High School students, but that is hard to believe because the performance is so strong and captivating. The story of Esther by itself is amazing, but the performance on this DVD brings it to life in a musical drama that blends humor with seriousness and a stellar cast that keeps you glued to the screen throughout. 5 stars to the writers, directors and performers. They did an amazing job that I have watched over and over. The video production and technical quality is excellent, again so very hard to believe that this came from a high school performance.
I strongly recommend this DVD for anyone who wants to see the story of Esther come alive or for anyone just looking for excellent entertainment for the sake of entertainment. I think that this DVD could be wonderful to watch with friends and it may spur some interesting discussions about the topics covered in the story of Esther. All in all, if you like quality musical drama, you won't go wrong with this purchase.
