This is a very nice, quality made, compact Bible. The print is small, but after all it is a compact Bible. It has good print quality. The bonded leather is a little stiff, but looks good. There are a few reviews that question this translation. When this happens, I look at 2 Timothy 3:16, All Scripture is given by inspiration of GOD, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of GOD may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. (KJV)

I believe you should always ask The Holy Spirit to guide you when you study HIS WORD.

This Bible is small and light enough to be pretty portable and the cover and page gilding are nice. But the supposed 7 point type looks smaller than 6 point Bibles I have. The lines are spaced a bit farther apart than a lot of Bibles, which helps. But the text is a bit light; which detracts from already small print. Pages are difficult to turn (likely a by-product of it's thin design) and the margins are too narrow (text is too close to center binding).

This reads more like a novel than a Bible. And with the huge chunks of unseparated text, it's a stretch to even call this paragraph format. Verse format is much more conducive to study, memorization, and simply finding things.

Text is too small to read. I will rarely if ever use this book.

I love studying different translations of the Bible so I have many. When I saw the NEB in this smaller format at a reduced price I wanted to buy it. I really like it, so much so that I pre-ordered the study Bible coming out later this year.
