Born in Rochester, New York, Jesse Battle began drawing when he was only eight years old. His creative gift from God soon landed him in art school. By 1983, Jesse was operating an art studio while serving an apprenticeship with a renowned professional artist. It was during this time that he had a spiritual experience revolving around one of his drawings.

This changed his life, giving him a richer commitment to his creative gift and a new sense of direction. It also prompted him to write The Endless Hour: The True Story of a Haunted Soul. Jesse now lives in New York City. He is married and continues with his artwork and writing.
