I really enjoyed reading this book, part because some of it was history and part because of the mystery. I love to read as much as I can as I am a shut in and reading is one of my joys in life. I was sorry when I came to the end as this book was so good.
Loved this book! While a fiction piece, had many tie-ins with the situation of my relatives who were on the Titanic, 2 of which survived and 1 who did not. This book keeps you guessing until the end as to whether the switch was made or not.
I found this book at a second hand store, and I didn't really expect a lot from it. After reading it, I can tell you that I liked it. Didn't hate it, didn't love it, just liked it.
It's refreshing to find a story that's well written, suspenseful and sprinkled with a decent amount of romance and mystery. The flashbacks brought a nice variety to the book and each of the characters were relatively well developed.
So ya, it was good. I personally wanted to hear some of the story from Cole's point of view. I find it brings a lot more depth to the story when you get a glimpse from the male prospective, but other then that, I was pleased. I'm glad this book is on my shelf, but I'm also glad I didn't pay a whole lot for it.
I recommend this novel to all you titanic lovers, history buffs and basically those who just want a good read. Enjoy :)
