This is one of the best books for encouragement and exhortation for homeschooling. So many times I forget that it won't be perfect, nor fit my image of perfection for homeschooling. This has both helped inspire me to try harder and also made me relax not to forget the Lord is working in my children too. I highly recommend it.

    Tell us a little about yourself.  Lorraine Curry’s first book Easy Homeschooling Techniques is a REAL how-to guide and has been a 5 Star Book since publication. Her family has always been her heart’s priority, while any spare moments are spent at the multi-tasked career of writer, book and newsletter publisher, web designer and bookseller. Lorraine has homeschooled since 1989 and been in business since 1994. She lives with her family in Middle America.

    What was your motivation behind this project?  There were a few things that I felt needed more emphasis than found in my first book, (such as parenting and scheduling). I had more material I wanted to share such as techniques from historical education, and recitation ideas.

    What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  I hope my book impacts parents regarding how very important it is to be the example and to teach and train their children well during a very small window of opportunity. I hope they will gain new usable knowledge and also enjoy reading such chapters as the "Gathering Flowers," and "Drawing from my Diary."

    Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  This work is based on the Word of God, especially the chapters about parenting and growing spiritual fruit in order to be the example our children need.
