My child is dyslexic, but we didn't realize that until age 9. This product is a great tool to teach listening and focusing skills as well as sounds, rhyming, and more. It is fun, colorful, and teaches all the basics for a foundation in reading.
JK TurnageNorthern LouisianaAge: 35-44Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Excellent for learningJanuary 26, 2011JK TurnageNorthern LouisianaAge: 35-44Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5My dd has auditory processing disorder and this program was suggested by her speech therapist. It is an excellent program. It is set up as games which the kids use the mouse to play. The games get increasingly harder and the program does keep track of their progress with a progress chart viewable by the parent. It tracks 2 children only at a time, with a third player option of 'guest'. The program helps with auditory memory, auditory discrimination and more. The games are colorful and engaging. I highly recommend this program. And, CBD's cost is competitive. I have this version and have used it previously on an xp driven computer. Recently, we purchased a 64 bit OS with Windows 7 and it does work on it....haven't encountered any problems so far.
