It does not work with windows 7. I wrote the company and they said this is a very old version of the program that they, the company doesn't even sell now. So I have a program here that we can't use and the company won't take it back as I didn't buy it directly from there.

The program is very easy to install and use, and we never had any issues with glitches in the program. We used the program for 15-30 minutes daily until our children completed all levels. The program was effective in teaching them the foundational skills needed for reading. I really like the program's built in learning mastery capabilities. The program only permits your child to advance as he/she masters the current level. Checkpoints, if failed, will send your child back to relearn skills he/she has not yet mastered. While this can sometimes be frustrating for a goal-oriented or competitively focused child, it is excellent for insuring your child actually learns the content and preventing your child from moving forward before he/she is ready. I would recommend this any level of the Earobics program to anyone.
Q: How many children can I use this version with?
This can be used with up to 3 student.
Q: Is this Earobics more suited for older kids (teens)? We used the younger version before, and when I mentioned the Earobics for teens and adults to my teenage daughter who needs this help, she mentioned how childish the other one was. Just don't want to get it if it will be boring and childish to her.
This version is designed for adult learning and does not utilize the characters from the children's program.
Q: Is this good for a fourth grader who needs some remediation? I'm homeschooling my grandson who reads with some difficulty. I've noticed when spelling words, he doesn't seem to hear all the phonetic sounds. For example, to spell "work," he may spell it wrok, not realizing the vowel comes before the "r" sound. Or he wrote "think" as "thick." Would this level be helpful for him or should I start him at an earlier level?
This is designed for older students, so does not have the animated characters that are more appealing to younger children. I would recommend using the level 2 kit with a 4th grader.
