I purchased the whole set, but am reading through this set first and am enjoying it very much. It is going to take a while, but there is so much God Honoring truth in here it is like finding a fresh well to drink from. These men of God were so on point. I am so pleased with this investment.

This set of books is the absolute go to if you are interested in apologetics. They clearly show how the early church thought and acted in reference to core tenants of faith.

Every scholar from every other time period would fall over if you showed him or her the material in these editions and the price. We live in a wonderful age.

If you have the other two sets, you should really by this set to complete it. The last book being a collection of the Ecumenical Councils is definitely a must for those who want to refute false claims about the Council of Nicaea.

Gives a very broad insight into the thinking of many of the early Church fathers. A must for those who want a broad context in which to place their thoughts on the origins of church tradition and theology.
