Dynamic Worship for Guitar (Guitar Instruction DVD) 4.5 5 2 2

I play guitar in a small rural church in West Tennessee. I am self-taught: I started playing the guitar three years ago. One of the most frustrating things about learning to play the guitar for worship is there is so little out there in teaching materials to help you. All too often, you are left have to figure things for yourself, taking from other styles of guitar playing (i.e. acoustic rock, bluegrass, country etc) and somehow find a way to adapt it to a worship. Take it from someone who has a spent a small fortune on guitar books and DVDs in the past three years, this DVD is a good investment of your time and money. Yes, it does just teach you one song but the instructor is doing so to teach you different chord voicing and pick and strumming techniques. It also goes beyond guitar instruction to teach you about worship and developing a heart for worship. I like that the instructor also uses the Bible in the DVD.I wish I knew about this DVD before I bought and lot of other stuff that quite frankly hasn't helped me one bit. It would have saved me a lot of wasted money and hassle and I would be a lot better guitar player than I am now. April 10, 2009

The audio visual CD is a very good teaching tool. However, the CD only covers one song, which reduces the overall value of the product. I would purchase more audio visual products of this quality if it included more content, i.e. songs with visual instruction, tabs, etc. September 10, 2008
