Well-written suspense from a lawyer's viewpoint.
Because of their belief in faith-healing Thomas and Therese Hammond take their son to the hospital too late to save his life. They are accused of murder. Charles Arnold, a be-bopping, street- preaching lawyer takes their case. The lives of many in the legal profession come into the story. The Hammonds' story, partly told from the viewpoint of their 5-year-old son, was compelling and I wished more of the book had been dedicated to their story. Nikki got involved in unethical, illegal activities, flirted constantly, dressed seductively, and I couldn't see why Charles would be interested in her. Still the book was very well written, a real page-turner. It's my first Randy Singer book, but it won't be my last.

Even better than my HIGH EXPECTATIONS
This book is so well written. So terrifically interesting. I usually read books and then resell or trade them - but not this one. I will keep it to loan to others with a very high recommendation. I cannot imagine anyone not enjoying it. I agree with another reviewer that it definitely should be made into a movie. The dialogue is so much fun - I am always reading parts aloud to my husband. The arguments by the two lawyers are just amazing! Nikki Moreno is so much fun to read about - an added bonus. If you like lawyer books, you will love this book. I have read others by Randy Singer and really liked them but this is the best so far.

Excellent! Well written, frustrating, edge of the seat, can't put it down book. Looking forward to more of his books!

I hope Dying Declaration will be made into a movie. The characters are well developed, the plot is intricate and well woven, and the ending is a complete surprise. I'd like to see the same characters in more of his books. I'm a huge fan of Randy Singer now. This is the only book I've read of his so far, but I plan to get more. He has been compared to John Grisham, but I would say he is even better!
