When the armies of Rhubarb go to battle against the Kingdom of Scone, the Great Pie War breaks out and things get really messy! Sweet Petunia, a charming young rhubarb, and the newest VeggieTales character, is forced to flee her homeland to protect her mother-in-law, Nona (Madame Blueberry). When the Duke (Larry the Cucumber), learns of the Princess' plight, he risks his life to help her and learns that true love means thinking of others first. This lesson in love is based on the biblical story of Ruth and Naomi. You'll also enjoy the tale of Miriam (Laura Carrot) and Moses, plus the newest silly song, "Larry Sings the Blues."

"It's kinda complicated,"- Nona (Madame Blueberry) I loved how the Veggies have yet again "translated" two great Bible stories to for my child. My son loved the action of the "Naomi, Ruth and Boaz" story and I laughed along too. My son and I are big fans of Silly Songs with Larry and this one is really funny too!

Definitely recommended...
Loved the way they combined two Biblical stories into one idea: (Miriam & Moses, Ruth & Naomi & Boaz). I bought it for my youngest child not knowing the older two would get the message that taking care of others by putting them first is showing true love.
Great new silly song as well.
