This book was not what I was expecting to follow Dreaming in Black & White, but I must say that I quite liked it. Phoebe Grant is a riot, and a lot of the book takes place in England. What's not to like?

Just finished this book, and I have to say, I loved the ending. It was very...freeing and refreshing.I felt like I was about to hop into her VW bug and go along for the exhilarating ride with Phoebe. Who KNOWS what's around the corner?! That's just exciting for many of us single Christian women, I think. So anyway, while this book was at times a tad boring, and often too descriptive and long-winded, the characters were great, each with their own strengths and weaknesses, and the Christian message was fabulously encouraging. Highly recommended for all Christian women, single or not.

Another Great Phoebe Grant Novel!Join Phoebe Grant as she takes advantage of a cheap airfare to England, leaving her problems at home in the States. Of course, its convenient that Alex, the man who seems perfect for Phoebe, has gone to England to help his own family.I laughed with Phoebe and shared her disappointments throughout her journey toward realizing what God wants for her life. The surprising ending satisfied me. Although Ive never been a single Christian woman, I loved this book and easily identified with Phoebe. Her trials are those of a Christian woman, rather than of a single Christian woman. The single element merely highlights Phoebes individual problems, which we all have in one form or another.Walkers real-life writing is humorous and spot on, as the Brits say. I hope she plans a third book in this series, because Ill be in line to buy it!

A delightful sequel! This book continued the adventures of single, thirty-something Phoebe Grant. I greatly appreciated the honesty in the story. Phoebe touched on many of the problems and annoyances facing todays Christian singles. Many Christian books have the perfect single girl who is swept off her feet by the perfect Christian man and Im glad that this book realistically illustrated the fact that thats not Gods will for everyone. The ending was refreshingly unique. This book wasnt as easy to get into as the previous book, however it was still very entertaining and a must read for anyone who enjoyed the first book.
