Steven James is an innovative storyteller and popular conference speaker, appearing weekly at conferences, churches, schools and other special events across the United States. He earned his master's degree in storytelling, and now also trains educators on creative communication techniques.     Tell us a little about yourself.  I have a Master's Degree in Storytelling and perform around the country. The dramas in this book have grown out of my love for story and connecting people with the tale God is telling our planet.

    What was your motivation behind this project?  I had a number of dramas I had worked on over the years and this was a good chance to bring all of those ideas together in one place.

    What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  Churches will find dramas that are honest, gritty, and image-rich to reach out to the emerging, postmodern world.

    Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  Well, I've enjoyed the work of many dramatists and performers over the years. The scripts in this book were influenced as much by our changing culture as any other author or artist.

    Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know:  Most of the scripts in this collection only require 2-4 actors so they're easy to cast and direct.
