Product Description

Norman Geisler and Frank Turek show, first of all, that truth is absolute, exclusive, and knowable. From there, they proceed to demonstrate that the cardinal Christian doctrines are true beyond reasonable doubt, all convincing for you as a Christians to believe, but requiring a leap of negative "faith" if an atheist is to disbelieve them.

So much good information… This book is a great resource for practical Christian apologetics. It is well thought out and presented well. As Christians we and our children need to be prepared to give answers. The evidence will only make your faith stronger. I want all my friends, Christians, skeptics, agnostic and atheists to read this book.

Great book and resource. The authors do get a little deep sometimes in their information, but they make their case extremely well. I heard the author, Frank Turek, on the radio say this is a great resource for students to defend themselves in a world that is increasingly hostile to Christians and their beliefs. Mr. Turek is right. Buy this book and spend time learning from it so you can stand up for your beliefs as a follower of Jesus Christ. KNOW why you believe what you believe. This is time well spent.

There will be very educated un saved people that we as believers will have a chance to listen to! Be ready to answer all their questions about Christianity with this material! Way over most heads but take your time and soak it up.

I recommend this book for those that believe as well as those seeking answers. If you KNOW what you believe, it is so much easier to tell others. You cannot defend what you don't understand.

I saw my self in every question, and wished I had asked them years ago and were given the same answers. It's too bad the people I asked didn't really know what they were talking about, that turned me off. This book will not only help you, it will help you witness.

This is an excellent book for the non-believer/skeptic. All of the evidence is presented without using Biblical references. Norman Geisler does an excellent job breaking down the misconceptions and arguments of the athiest and shows that it really does take more faith to be an athiest than to believe in a Divine Creator. This is an excellent resource.

What a great book. Reconciling 50 years of the received "wisdom" of Darwinian evolution and Christianity was a stumbling block for me until I read this book. It acknowledged nagging doubts I had regarding the evolutionary "chain" and argued from positions I hadn't considered. I wish I could be half as articulate as Mr. Geisler and Mr. Turek when the need arises. Despite the serious nature of the subject this is an absolutely enjoyable read. I spent half the time smiling and the other half laughing. Regarding another review mentioning science's stubborn refusal to mention God, I've heard some scientists call pre-big bang "The Singularity",(The Oneness?). They just can't let themselves take that last step.

With the use of science and references to renowned scientists, Albert Einstein among them, and with no references to Scripture, the authors show that the universe came into being in an instant, prior to which there was nothing: no space, no time and no matter. Scientists have proven it to be so and call it the big bang. Furthermore, not only the earth itself, but most everything in the universe, is calibrated so very meticulously to support life here on earth. Again, it is the scientists who have discovered this to be so. Incredibly, few of them are able to see how their own conclusions harmonize so perfectly with Genesis 1:1. The authors go on to show how silly is the notion that life began as a simple, single cell: indeed that there is no such thing as a simple cell as modern DNA science has shown. Darwinism, as the authors avow, is a myth with no foundation, no structure and no evidence. And yet many scientists, who are among the most intelligent of human beings, cling to the theory and encourage each of us to cling to it “with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind,” as they themselves do. And that requires an astronomical amount of faith. They must not, they dare not, as one of them wrote, allow a divine foot in the door. And if all that is not enough, the authors go on to prove the trustworthiness of the New Testament. I Don’t have Enough Faith to be an Atheist by Norman L. Geisler and Frank Turek is positively the best defence of my Christian faith I have ever read, C. S. Lewis included.
