I just didn't care for this book. I'm still reading it hoping it get's better. There are some good part's when they get lead 's about the murders, but they are far and few between. It's also a hugh book, 603 pages. Its a lot about raceism and I just didn't care for it. Not because of that but just too much of it. Sorry

Excellent mystery by Alcorn, with insightful content concerning race relations and how minorities adjust to living in society. Very helpful reading as well as an enjoyable story line. Alcorn's main characters are very realistic. Good use of humor and suspense.

I read Deception before the first two, Deadline and Dominion. Deception is the reason I sought and purchased the first two. All are excellent books! That said, Dominion gets you into the culture of racism. There were so many things I have never thought about brought out in the book. I live in the north and have always considered myself NOT racist in any way. I judge people by their actions not their color. Doesn't everyone? I had NO appreciation for what a black person might still face today. I will say that Dominion was a difficult book to get through for me but well worth hanging in there for. (I wanted Randy to get to the point and he wants to be sure the reader understands the issues) I am glad Randy took the time to dig into it and let us truly see the issues as brought out in a wonderful story. I now "get it" better then ever before and have a lot more compassion for those who are treated as second class citizens or even hated because of their race or color. The characters are real and well written. The constancy of Obadiah's faith, Clarence's father, was an encouragement to all who call Jesus "LORD." I highly recommend this book. Just hang in there to the end.

This is another masterpiece by Randy Alcorn. This book I first read 10 years ago and it is just as relevant today. I reread it yearly and recommend it to everybody. Randy Alcorn can tell a great story while at the same time teach you many truths. Excellent read. Worth every dime.

The descriptions of heaven are wonderfully vivid. The storyline had me thinking about so many of life's everyday issues, that are in the daily news. Makes me want to reach out to those who are unlike myself as their struggles are just as real as mine. We all end up in the same place...that wonderfully vivid heaven.
