Divine Intervention will bring encouragement and hope to family members, spouses, or loved ones of an addict. It will challenge your thinking about the addiction and enable you to best help your addicted loved one in a biblical manner.
Mark Shaw is a certified addictions counselor. He uses biblical principles with practical applications to demonstrate that it is the addict's self-centered, sinful thoughts that cause addicts to commit harmful acts towards others and themselves.

Julie A. Davis5 Stars Out Of 5December 5, 2008Julie A. DavisThis is a biblical resource for families or friends of addicts with all types of addictions in mind. The author plainly counsels from the bible calling all involved to accountability before God in their response to the addicted friend or family member. This book calls us to look at our own hearts and confront the idolatry that we are involved in. This is hard on first glance, but I suggest that one search the truth out biblically that the author presents in this book.
