Dinosaurs of Eden: A Biblical Journey Through Time
This book is a pure travesty. It attempts to force its own preconceived notions about dinosaurs and tries to reconcile them with Biblical accounts. The Bible is not a history book. It is a religious book that contains historical events in it. This book attempts to place human beings as living at the same time as dinosaurs, when scientifically this is impossible. Reconciling our understanding of the universe with the Bible happens all the time.
We must never forget that the Bible was written at a time when humanity's understanding of the cosmos was severely limited compared to what we know today. Mr. Ham does not deny that dinosaurs existed, but he tries to teach children that they existed at the same time humans did. The illustration of humans riding on dinosaurs is simply laughable.
Children who are taught this will be hindered in their future studies. The book has no scientific merit, other than explaining what the Latin and Greek names of the dinosaurs mean. In essence, this is pseudoscience and should not be taught to children. It places blind faith over scientific fact. God gave us a brain. We should use it.
Do not buy this book.

NO death before ADAM & EVES SIN GEN 3:19
It all makes perfect sense if you believe everything the bible says. And I do.Gen 1:24-31 . Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth, each according to its kindâÂÂ; and it was so. Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth... So there was No death before MAN.Gen 3:19

I am a Christian, but I don't agree with this book
I respect the views of my fellow Christians who take a more literal view of the Bible than I do. That said, I believe the ideas presented in the book conflict directly with proven science. I am not trying to persuade anyone here, I just wanted to make it clear that not all Christians believe in the ideas that Ham's book contains.

Love the book
I used this book while teaching a segment on Creation to my 5th graders in our Sunday School class. The kids responded to hearing how old the real dinosaurs were in comparison to the world's view. The highlight was knowing the dinosaurs were on the Ark with Noah. They had lots of fun sharing this info with their parents, and with their public school teachers. It is just a great book, filled with great scriptures to get the kids thinking. The biggest point I saw resonate with the kids was the result of sin, and how everything started to die. Great Lesson. Great Book. Highly recommend it to all teachers, home schooled and Sunday school.
