I gleaned a handful of recipes from this. But the main courses are heavy on sweet/savory dishes, which I do not like. And virtually ALL of the side dishes say you can't freeze them, so why are they in this book??? To many drink recipes. Not worth the $12. Just check it out of your library if you need a couple new ideas.

I love this book. My husband gave it to me as a birthday gift a few years ago. It has become my go to book when the schedule gets really crazy. I love the baking section for holidays. The recipes are already doubled or tripled!

I absolutely love this book. After two years of wasting time and money, I now cook once a week and I'm set. No more stress and little mess. Not to mention the money we have saved and will save. The recipes are simple and good. You have to try the meatloaf recipe. My husband says it is the best he has ever had. I know this sounds goofy, but this cookbook has changed my life.

I'm new to quantity cooking and freezing meals, so I really appreciated the opening sections on shopping, organisation, freezing methods, etc. The recipes are a good mix of simple and more gourmet meals. Unfortunately, meat is much more expensive in Australia than the US, so I'll have to skip some meals that just wouldn't be frugal.
