Editor BioThe late F. L. Cross was the Lady Margaret Professor of Divinity in the University of Oxford and Canon of Christ Church from 1944 to 1968. He did crucial academic work on the African biblical canons and early liturgy.
Dr. E. A. Livingstone assumed the editorship of the Dictionary of the Christian Church upon the death of F. L. Cross. A specialist in patristic studies, she was made a Member of the British Empire in recognition of her work in that field.
