Fantastic book! We begin each day reading from this book and have great conversations with our daughters.

Disappointing. I bought this to go along with the Day by Day Bible. I assumed that since they were designed to go together it would follow the daily readings from the Day by Day Bible. But it does not! Instead, it skips around all over the place from day to day. And there are no devotions for Saturdays and Sundays, so if you want to do a devotion every day, you'll have to come up with something else for the weekend. Or just forget about the daily designations and have it last nine months instead of a year. The devotions are pretty good. We read them to our three, seven and nine year olds, and all enjoy them. You don't need the Bible because key parts of the passage to be read are included with each lesson. So, if you buy this book, don't buy the Day by Day Bible to go with it, unless you just want a stand-alone daily Bible that has nothing to do with your Bible. I'd say it's best for ages 4-6, but can easily be used for ages 3-9. Maybe 2-9 if you're trying to stretch it over multiple ages.

This is a wonderful tool for our family. Even thought the age range is 6-8 even our 3 year old follows along. I use this in the morning before school to help start my children's (and my too) day off on the right foot. It has fun activites to do each day of teh week to tie in the lesson of the day.
