This is a great book for anyone wanting to learn about Christians of the past who have left their marks. I had to read this book for school, but ended up really enjoying reading about the authors that I had heard so much about. The book offers resources to other books if the reader wishes to learn more. Great book, I highly reccomend it!

I look forward each morning to the thoughts I will encounter in this book. My thinking is challenged and deepened; my daily life reflects this. Presentation is very user-friendly and leads to more resources if reader desires. This book is a treasure.

Another excellent resource from Renovare. This resource gives us a glimpse into history as we observe the lives of other Christians and are able to draw wisdom from their personal walks with the Lord. It is much too narrow to only look at the lives of Christians from the point of the Reformation on. There have been Christians since they were first called so.
