love it!
Love this science series. It includes a lot of information and is set up to be adapted for use with 1st - 8th graders, so it is perfect if you have multiple children in different grades. The most important thing is that it teaches science from a young earth perspective, and each lesson reinforces our children' s faith in the accuracy of the biblical record.

We all loved it!
This has been one of the first curriculums that all of us agreed on. I got it because it teaches to all learning styles and it could be used with multiple grade levels. I had a 3rd, 5th, and 8th grader. It worked! It covered subjects thoroughly and in an interesting manner. The experiments were fun and it wasn't difficult to find the supplies. The true evidence of its worth occurs when my kids have used what they learned in their everyday lives. I heard my third grader say while pulling weeds one day. "That's a fibrous root." Hallelujah! She then went on to explain it to her little sister. We are using God's Design for the Heaven's & the Earth this year and look forward to getting started!

Worth the money!
I have been eying this curriculum for years, but it is a little pricey for me. CBD had it on deep discount and I finally bit the bullet--and boy am I glad I did!! It is amazing and everything I thought it would be. I have not used it yet--it is for next school year--but I have spent an extensive amount of time reading though the student and teacher books, as well as printing the worksheets and other CD stuff. If you're on the fence, I highly recommend this product.
A few examples of things I noticed in comparison to other curricula:
*The younger students are not required to memorize all of the classification system (Kingdom, Phyla, class, etc.) as in the Exploring Creation with...series by Jeannie Fulbright.
*If emphasis on Creation versus Evolution Theory is important to you, this curriculum will not disappoint! They use every opportunity to compare the two in an interesting and RELEVANT way, rather than adding in a bland, "You can see how marvelously God provided for [such and such]" that won't really affect your children.
*The teacher part is VERY easy to use. It's well laid-out. In the student book, the color coding for the age levels makes it very simple and easy to follow. The part read to the younger kids is written on their level and you won't have to do a lot of explaining of the text--you can just move on to discussion.
