clarity for a difficult subject

This is great book that clarifies a some rather deep topics (God's nature & the Trinity in particular). I learned some new things about how inadequate the idea of God as a singularity is and how rich and meaningful the triune God is. Also gained a deeper understanding of why God created us. I am using this book as part of an ongoing study in our church for the purpose of moving believers into a deeper understanding of their faith, what they believe and what it means when they engage the non-Christian world. This has been a great resource. A book I will re-read many times in the future. I found his style of writing can sometimes be hard to follow, but that could be just my own personal reaction. Well worth buying and reading. You will profit richly form doing so. I have had opportunities to discuss God with people from other mono-theistic faiths and new have new insights that I wish I had earlier. Can hardly wait to share some of this with them.
This is the best book on the Trinity I have read. It is easy to understand and focuses on GOD as a Father loving the son, the SON loving US, the SPIRIT loving the SON while comforting US & all Glory going back to the FATHER. A CIRCLE of LOVE following like a river. I feel much more ability to explain the TRINITY (before I was often miffed on truly understanding the Trinity).
Excellent explanation about many concepts of the Trinity that I did not understand until reading the book. As the title says, this book did really help me to see why there is reason to delight in the Trinity!
Like many of you I did three units on the Trinity in seminary--found it to be very impractical. The course gave me a headache as I tried to understand the triune Godhead and learn what words like subsistence meant. I did learn that you do not divide the essence nor confuse the persons of the Godhead.
Dr. Reeves explains the triune Godhead in a wonderfully practical way. This summer I will take this book to Africa and teach it to local pastors. Can I compliment the book more?
