Wow! Another great story from Robert Whitlow! I love all his books and now a new series begins and I loved the characters. This was one for The Cold Case Files. A young, Tami Taylor, has just been given the opportunity to work in a big law firm for the summer. Tami is a young lady that comes from a background that so few of us have ever seen or heard of. Her family are so close that she seeks the approval of her parents before making major decisions. She learns a lot about the world outside of her small home town but she never forgets her prayer to "Lord wherever I go, may I make the court of law a place of praise."I really loved reading about Tami and her family and the other people that come into her life. Mrs. Fairmont, who is showing signs of her aging mind is the person she lives with during this time. I look forward to reading #2 in this series and finding out who she invites home to meet her family.
I really did enjoy this book. I trust there will be more in the series. I didn't like the ending because I wanted to know who she will begin to form a relationship with. Maybe anohter book will make that known. I have lent this book to a friend.
I've read all of Whitlow's books and can't wait for the next one. They are all good, entertaining, engrossing, with good characters, and value laden. They're the kind of stories, you end one chapter, then just have to start the next. The stories involve legal issues, kind of like the Grisham books, but much more positive, at least in the result. Better get started reading.
