Blake is an underwater archaeologist who unintentionally gets caught in the middle of an international nuclear arms terrorist plot. Kendig paints this action-packed book with vivid descriptions of the exotic and underwater locations, and puts readers right into the action with the characters. Kendig's writing takes readers from the deep sea to breakneck chases in Mumbai, as Shiloh tries to outsmart her terrorist pursuers.
The plot follows Shiloh as she must team up with Navy-SEAL-turned-spy Reece Jaxon, which may cause her to compromise her promise never to become a spy after growing up with a CIA agent as a father. The characters pull readers into the story through emotions of excitement, fear, romance, anger, bitterness, and forgiveness.
