Homeschool Specialists' Review
There are hidden treasures in these books about our Christian ancestors. They tell tales that build our faith by revealing God at work in the lives of people who placed their trust in him! They are testimonies to how God will work through both ordinary and extraordinary people alike. They celebrate the type of courageous, dedicated, and godly heroes we want our children to admire.
Little pieces of the stories bring back the fondest memories of our homeschool days. I found these books personally faith-building, and I know they have helped shape my children's faith as well. Approx. 200 pages each, softcovers from YWAM.

Jean Bunting5 Stars Out Of 5October 22, 2007Jean BuntingThis wonderful book shows a man who gave all to serve God and obey His call. He was desperate to make a change in Africa, which led him on his 40,000 mile journey. Throughout his life, David showed people God's love and shared the gospel by learning the African people's languages. Along the way, he made some very devoted friends who followed him through swamps, treacherous rivers, jungles, mosquito infested areas, the Kalahari desert, and more. David loved God, but he also loved people. He was desperate to stop the African slave trade. My daughter and I cried as this book ended and were truly touched by this man's sacrifice and service. We also feel like we know David and his heart. I highly recommend this book! What an adventure and also a testimony of how God can work!
