Award-winning, bestselling author Beth Wiseman is best known for her Amish novels, but she has also written several successful contemporary novels, set primarily in her beloved Texas, including Need You Now and The House that Love Built. Both have received glowing reviews. Beth's The Promise is inspired by a true story. Website: www.bethwiseman.com Twitter: @bethwiseman Facebook: Fans-of-Beth-Wiseman
JavandmePEI, CanadaAge: 55-65Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Excellent productApril 22, 2013JavandmePEI, CanadaAge: 55-65Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Daughters of the Promise are the first Beth Wiseman books that I have read and I have been very pleased. The interaction between the Amish and "English" worlds has been very interesting. As I have finished one book I am anxious to continue reading about these complex characters. Although one book naturally leads into the next; each book stand alone telling a complete story. These are books that I will recommend to my friends.

Beth Wiseman is a great author! You get a great story along with strengthening your own faith while you read! I loved seeing how simple God intended our life and how complicated we make it in our busy day-to-day lives.
GerriLouisianaAge: 55-65Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5October 22, 2010GerriLouisianaAge: 55-65Gender: femaleI thoroughly enjoyed all four of these "Daughters of the Promise" series. I'm a huge fan of Beverley Lewis and I admit I have low expectations for all "Amish" stories except hers. However, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the writing and the interesting story line. I read all four of them straight through in one week!
Jeanette Jiggetts5 Stars Out Of 5March 24, 2010Jeanette JiggettsI love thw way the author keeps you in suspense. I enjoy reading Amish novels. My only hope is that the Amish may abandon the practice of shunning and heed the Lord's prayer regarding forgiveness.otherwise I think they are a remarkable people!!!
Joan Gers5 Stars Out Of 5January 19, 2010Joan GersBeth Wiseman's characters in her books are so "real", with problems unique to the Amish &"Englischer". Having grown up near Amish country I am familiar with their customs & Beth is right on track. A wonderful wholesome read I will recommend to anyone.
