Publisher's Description

Joshua Harris's first book, written when he was only 21, turned the Christian singles scene upside down...and people are still talking. More than 800,000 copies later, I Kissed Dating Goodbye, with its inspiring call to sincere love, real purity, and purposeful singleness, remains the benchmark for books on Christian dating. Now, for the first time since its release, the national #1 bestseller has been expanded with new content and updated for new readers. Honest and practical, it challenges cultural assumptions about relationships and provides solid, biblical alternatives to society's norm.

This is a great book with lots of very useful information. Every teen should prayerfully consider reading this book. It's very relevant since it's author is so young. The author is wise beyond his years. Teen parents should read in order to guide teens in a Godly way!

Life changing... I wish I had read and hearkened to this book when I was 10, not in my mid 30's. It's not easy to find a sincere Christian mate, but trying the world's methods just make it even harder. Living the Christian life is not easy, and it can be overwhelming, that's how we learn to rely on God alone for all that we need, for we should seek first His Kingdom and righteousness, then "all these things" will be added to us, according to His purpose and timing.

Another wonderful read! The Harris family seems to be filled with many talented young people. I recommend this book very highly. I enjoyed it very much, and the ideas were absolutely wonderful.

The book ignores the possibility of good, healthy, Godly dating relationships, which can exist. I think it's a good read in that it does bring up some very interesting and thoughtful points about faith, respect, and sexuality. So often, though, I've seen this book used as the anti-dating manifesto by young wide-eyed teens. I don't think this book serves that purpose well.

This book is amazing! As a 16 year old girl I was really confused on whether keeping myself out of the dating game and avoiding romantic relationships was a good idea, but now I have a stronger foundation after reading this book! This is a MUST read! It's my favorite book (besides the Bible) and I recommend it to anyone and everyone!

A must read for parents with teens. Don't let the title scare you the book is not what it sounds like. It is full of practical and biblical messages that teens need to hear. i wish someone had shared this with me when I was younger.

a revolutionary way of looking at things. The guy doesnt say dating is evil, he simply points us back to our motive behind certain things in relationships and shows us pitfalls we can be ignorant of in our approach to relationships. A good read.
