mgray5 Stars Out Of 5great movieJanuary 22, 2015mgrayThis movie is great for teenagers and young adults. It shows real life things that teens go through, poor choices they can make and consequences they will suffer. But choosing to seek and follow Christ will forever change your life, and He will help you get through whatever you are going through and work all things out for your good.
BJC20181 Stars Out Of 5Can't ignore crucial statement in movie....December 26, 2014BJC2018I had been looking forward to seeing this movie ever since it came out. My nephew had committed suicide a few years back so I desperately wanted this movie to share with others and also to donate to our church's library. However, unfortunately I can't donate this to our church library in good conscience.Even though,I loved how the movie was so real and promoting the idea christians should love and accept everyone,I was totally shocked and dismayed near the end of the movie that the main character Jake says to his girlfriend who is pregnant with his child that he would support her no matter what she decided (meaning whether she had an abortion or not).I understand he was a new christian but since Jake was the main character in this movie and this movie was made to influence teenagers for the good, I can not accept that statement suggesting abortion as being okay.It is so very sad... this could have been a really extraordinary movie if they just would have put more thought into it.Believe me, I am not normally a critical person, I try to support as many christian movies as possible and I can even ignore some of the language in this movie but I got to be honest here as people should know about this very crucial point about the abortion issue.

Paige5 Stars Out Of 5Abingdon, VAOctober 2, 2014PaigeQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Those of you who are educators know how essential it is to use the first week of school to communicate your expectations of the students for the entire year. I show this movie on the 2nd day of school every year to communicate that i will not tolerate bullying of any kind. i also use it to show the students that each one of them are struggling with their own individual battles & that we will be supporting each other, not beating each other down. So far, i have had to do very little disicipline despite the fact i have 20 teenage students. I hope that the Lord uses this movie to heal our broken young people & inspire them to find their callings in life
