Danger at Lakeside Farm is a well-written, faith-filled mystery thriller written by Patricia H. Rushford. I enjoyed how Rushford doesn’t have “perfect” characters; this makes the story easier to relate to. Though the book is mostly about the exciting mystery, the author also includes thoughts in the narrative about Jessie’s relationship with Christ. My one critique would be that there are only 3 books out so far! The mystery has many moving parts which make the story very exciting but not too confusing. I look forward to reading more of her books.
